I was expecting something more, like... fot example

"Teenagers now, the protagonist meets the bullies with fully grown dog" scene

But it was neat animation, keep up the good work.

Quite good. I'd agree it should be higher age rated, but also I am under impression you messed something with the formatting - the image proportions seem wrong - this image should be in 9 to 16, not 3 to 4, as it is, Even the baubles seem all wrong.

Looks overall nice, there is one bad thing though. Snowflakes have six arms. Always. It's due to the molecular structure of water.

I came to conclusion that his puppet friends really existed in the past, but in some way separeted ways from him.
He couldn't bear it and got himself those puppets.
It seems he cannot comprehend death, too, or he doesn't want to.
